Note to Canadian
readers: You have been
wonderfully supportive of Pope Joan, and I’ve gotten
to know so many of you through delightful
speakerphone chats. So I am dismayed that the
mini-series will not air in Canada—at least not now.
I pressed REELZ about an airing in Canada, but I was
told that there are licensing and other issues that
prevent this.
The way to make it happen?
Same as in the U.S. Exercise
the Power of One: Contact your local TV provider,
and REELZ, to request an airing of Pope Joan. You
can be sure that I will heartily support such an
effort!

TV Network Carriers
Cox
does not carry REELZ TV. So if
you are a COX subscriber, you won’t be able to view
Pope Joan: The Movie.
The way to remedy this?
Tell Cox that you want
to receive REELZ. Unlikely that Cox will act before
Sunday, December 18th, but REELZ will re-screen the
Pope Joan mini-series next year. So this is an
opportunity to exercise the Power of One!
Comcast carries REELZ
quite broadly. But
there are a few areas where they don't--
for example, Seattle, Denver, Colorado Springs.
The way to change
this? Call your local
provider and ask for REELZ.
Some other local
providers who might air Pope Joan if you ask:
Suddenlink (West VA, Texas)
Wide Open West (Midwest) Armstrong (western PA)
Buckeye (Toledo OH) Atlantic Broadband (New
England, mid-Atlantic, FL) Insight (Indiana,
Kentucky, Ohio).
Charter:
Several MidWest readers have written to say that
they successfully upgraded their accounts with
Charter in order to view the Pope Joan mini-series.
They paid only $10 for one-month access to REELZ and
several other channels, and they can cancel at any
time. Something to consider.
